Just plugged in the receiver 3rd party one haha! Since everyone seems to prefer Xbox pads over PlayStation, I wanna go for those. I don't know if it will be supported. Xpad is used for xinput devices. If so, I might as well buy a second first gen that has the adapter included and I'll have a second controller for player 2. Does anyone know if it works properly on Ubuntu 18.
High quality product, and yes you should not even second guess buying this. Tho, I've not seen a game that could support this yet. As of now, this is the only way to connect an Xbox One controller to the Mac. This should greatly enhance the game compatibilty with some distro. I also tried with updating the firmware of the gamepad to the newest version, but still not working. I wouldn't spend much energy if I were on getting the dongle to work just for audio purposes.

Basically what I did was unpair the controller from my laptop, paired it with the Windows machine, waited for Windows to identify the device as an Xbox Controller, then unpaired it from the Windows machine and paired it back to the laptop and since then it worked as intended. I can't find any official Linux drivers for it. Restart your Mac when prompted by the installer. The module may have a parameter to turn rumble off globally. Edit: I don't have an option to even turn Bluetooth on or off, there's neither any Bluetooth in Device Manager. And does anyone at least know how I can delete the drivers for the controller so I can re-pair it and let it download again? Wireless service voice and data required and is additional. There are discrepancies with the xbox one buttons over usb and over bluetooth as north and west buttons are swapped, Y should be north button but it's west, and X should be west but it's north.
