The author wrote this book in such a way that a 5-year-old could understand it and for so It's only fair to preface this with the fact that I absolutely abhor this topic. His research interests and experiences are varied. In tandem with SmartBook, McGraw-Hill's adaptive and personalized reading experience, Cozby and Bates provide helpful pedagogy, rich examples, and a clear voice in their approach to methodological decision-making. My one real complaint is that I wish the book had included modeling and simulation and participatory action research in its overview of various research methods.
