For steps and stairs, it is way to sensitive. My heart rate tends to get higher than it should towards the end of my intervals of walking and running, and I wanted to keep track of it. Give your wrist a rest by taking the band off every now and then. Stopping is even more counterintuitive. There are 20 page threads on the Fitbit forums about issues getting these to sync, and the Help from Fitbit consists of random repeated advice to reboot or re-pair or :use the latest version of android.

Ive set it for my dominant wrist, and my non-dominant wrist I always wear it on my non-dominant wrist, which is my left hand.
Besides that, the heart rate on this fitbit seems relatively accurate if I compare it with a treadmill that can read heart rate. After about a month of everyday use, I figured I would give my review of this item. I really dislike that it can only hold one interval setting at a time, so I can't change it easily without my phone nearby to edit it and re-sync the settings. With the Charge 3, you have to swipe to the exercise screen, tap the exercise button on the face, swipe to your desired routine, then tap two separate start buttons on the face to begin tracking.
After swimming or getting the band wet, we recommend drying the band because, as with any wearable device, it's best for your skin if the band is clean and dry. I have never done much cardio in my life, so I am trying to get into running with something similar to couch to 5k but at a slower progression pace. Both of those really impede my ability to adjust the interval or check that my heart rate is in a safe zone. As for the steps counter, it has approximately double the steps versus my iPhone 8.

The Charge 3 Special Edition has Fitbit Pay The biggest reason to get the Special Edition is that it's the only model that comes with Fitbit Pay. The issue is all over the FitBit forums too, hope they get it worked out, but until they do, Im not wasting more time or energy, its going back. .
